How can foreign countries work with Canada to build trade and important relationships? WithCanada is an interactive map with multiple language support. Users can identify their interest and interact with places on a map where investment is most suitable.

The open source platform for real time transit info. Try OneBusAway for Puget Sound, Washington; Rogue Valley, Oregon; San Diego, California; or Tampa Bay, Florida. Branded versions of OneBusAway are also available in New York City; Środa Wielkopolska, Poland; Washington DC; and York, Canada.

The Open Democracy Project is a not-for-profit startup working to open the democratic process by publishing a shared campaign resource package for councillor and trustee races. DemocracyKit is being built by local campaigners, for local campaigners. Civic Toronto joined forces to help DemocracyKit in fall 2016. An Indiegogo campaign was launched November 7, 2016 and ran until December 9, 2016. 189 donors contributed $31.4K. Funds were raised to help launch DemocracyKit by spring 2017, so that campaign teams have more than six months to prepare for the 2018 municipal election cycle.

The Civic User Testing Group is a project of the Code for Miami, a civic organization devoted to using technology to make lives better in Miami. The project is supported by a 2016 Knight Cities Challenge grant provided by the Knight Foundation.

The City of Seattle provided its citizens with Crime Dashboard. This is an attractive design using the Tableau visualization software. Tableau is also headquartered in Seattle. Note that you can connect standardized open data sources to visualization programs.
